ME488 Project Topics:

Group 1: Nilgun + Ozhan + Ibrahim + M.Basak + Anil: IYTE Tile

Group 2: Selahattin + Orkun + Veli + Abdulvahap: PU + Alumina foams

Group 3: B.Basak + Cem + Gokhan + Alnur + Baris: Alumina tile project

Each group must prepare a typewritten 5 page report (times new roman 12 points single spacing) report citing the information they have found from the literature. The literature should not be composed solely of web site searches but books in the library should be browsed. Each group member must physically walk in the library to search for relevant books, periodicals, references. You must prove me that you have done so. Plagiarism will not be tolerated. Because none of the students turned in their project lit survey reports no one will get full grade from the projects. The group directors are more accountable for such failure in the responsibilities. I urge the group directors to see me at least once a week from now on to verbally report me the developments in your projects. I noticed that the groups are taking it easy to finish the projects. Such "procrastination" and "ease" will only make it harder for you in this class. I hope to see more professionalism in the balance of the semester.
