Distributed Real-Time Systems Group
We are working on the design and analysis of distributed (hard)
real-time systems. We are particularly interested in fault tolerance in
such systems. One way of achieving fault tolerance in a distributed
hard real-time system is through process groups. We have designed a
synchronous real-time protocol details of which can be found
here. Also a fault tolerant clock synchronization
algorithm for a distributed real-time system is proposed here. We have done some preliminary work on
fault tolerance in distributed real-time systems based on clusters
here. A recent MS project
involves dynamic load
balancing in distributed real-time systems based on clusters
