Design and Implementation of a Fault Tolerant Protocol for Distributed Real-time Systems

* The aim of the project is to design and implement a protocol for fault tolerance in distributed real-time systems. This is a recently started joint project (March 2000) with INRIA SOLIDOR group HADES and Ege University International Computer Institute Distributed Real-Time Systems Group. We are looking at using group communication for fault tolerance in such systems. There is a great deal of publication on fault tolerance in distributed systems literature. However, our aims are to provide a scalable and a real-time protocol.
