The Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) and Materials Science (MS) at Izmir Institute of Technology are the interdisciplinary programs, offering both Master of Science and PhD degrees. Students having baccalaureate degrees from a wide range of undergraduate programs are welcomed to the programs. There are more than 20 affiliated faculty members that are involved research in this program. The facilities are accessible to the program researchers all over the campus.  Many departments support the MSE and MS programs.
