CENTER MISSION

The mission of the Biotechnology and Bioengineering at IYTE is to enhance the innovative development and application of biotechnology and bioengineering through an interdisciplinary, coordinated research effort across the departments of University, thereby contributing to society and the improvement of the quality of life.

Mission and Goals

● Coordinate and promote interdisciplinary research and development at IYTE in the biotechnology and bioengineering sciences.

● Work with existing IYTE DEPARTMENTS AND CENTERS to facilitate interdisciplinary projects in the broad areas of biotechnology and bioengineering, including environmental bioengineering, and biomedical bioengineering.

● Promote workforce development in the fields of biotechnology and bioengineering.

● Promote economic development in biotechnology and bioengineering.

● Establish laboratory facilities for the researches of the Instıtute conducting biotechnology and bioengineering research.
