Nottingham Üniversitesi ve East London Üniversitesinden sunum

1 Aralık Salı günü kentsel tasarım stüdyo projeleri için İzmir'de bulunan University of Nottingham ve University of East London öğrencileri Fakültemizi ziyaret etti. Yrd. Doç. Dr. sayın Nursen Kaya'nın "İzmir'in Planlama Tarihi" üzerine gerçekleştirdiği konuşmanın ardından, öğrenciler İzmir'e ilişkin sorularını yönelttiler. 12.30-13.30 arasında ise Laszlo Fecske-Varga ve Ulysses Sengupta stüdyo yöntem ve pratiklerini anlatan bir sunum yaptılar. Sunumlar, tüm öğretim elemanı ve öğrencilerimizden yoğun ilgi gördü.

Presentation by University of Nottingham and University of East London

On Tuesday December 1, the Faculty of Architecture was visited by a group of students coming from the University of Nottingham and University of East London. This group was visiting Izmir for a research trip in preparation for their urban design studio projects. Assist. Prof. Dr. dear Nursen Kaya gave a lecture on the planning history of Izmir. There was an open question and answer session for the visiting students on issues related to Izmir and their studio projects afterwards.
During lunchtime the studio instructors Laszlo Fecske-Varga and Ulysses Sengupta also made a presentation on their research methodology and studio work. There was a wide participation to the presentations by both our students and academic staff.
