AR 301 Mimari Tasarım Stüdyosu Teknik Gezisi

AR 301 Mimari Tasarım Stüdyosu, 11-13 Ekim 2008 tarihlerinde, proje konusu olarak belirlenen konut tasarımı kapsamında, Kütahya'ya bir teknik gezi gerçekleştirdi. Gezi, proje yürütücüleri Yrd. Doç. Dr. Şebnem Yücel Young, Öğr. Gör. Virginia Couch, Öğr. Gör. Kamal Eldin Mohamed ve Öğr. Gör. Mimar Serhat Akbay ile Araştırma Görevlileri Ayşe Çelik, Başak Güçyeter, ve Funda Yaka tarafından düzenlendi. Gezide öğrenciler, Kula, Kossuth Müzesi, Çini Müzesi, Ulucami, Osmanlı Çini Atölyesi ve Kütahya El Sanatları Merkezini görme fırsatı buldular. Öğrencilerimiz, hazırlayacakları projeye yönelik bilgi toplamanın dışında, Kula geleneksel sivil mimarisi ve el sanatları hakkında bilgiler de edindiler.

Technical Trip by AR 301 Architectural Design Studio

Between 11-13 October 2008, AR 301 Architectural Design Studio took a technical trip to Kütahya, within the context of design problem determined as the design of housing. The trip was organized by the project supervisors Assist. Prof. Dr. Şebnem Yücel Young, Inst. Virginia Couch, Inst. Kamal Eldin Mohamed and Inst. Architect Serhat Akbay, and Research Assistants Ayşe Çelik, Başak Güçyeter and Funda Yaka. Students could get the chance of visiting Kula, Kossuth Museum, Çini Museum, Ulucami, Çini Atelier of Ottomans and Center of Kütahya Handicrafts. Apart from attaining information about their design projects, students were also enlightened about the vernacular architecture of Kula and traditional handicrafts.
