AR 201 Mimari Tasarım Stüdyosu Teknik Gezisi

AR 201 Mimari Tasarım Stüdyosu, 20-21 Eylül 2008 tarihlerinde, proje konusu olarak belirlenen "tren istasyonu" tasarımı kapsamında, araziyi oluşturan Selçuk Tren İstasyonu ve çevresine bir teknik gezi gerçekleştirdi. Gezi, proje yürütücüleri Doç. Dr. Türkan Özbalta, Yrd. Doç. Dr. Fehmi Doğan, Yrd. Doç. Dr. Erdem Erten, Öğr. Gör. Dr. Ülkü İnceköse ve Öğr. Gör. Y. Mimar Aydın Özay ile Araştırma Görevlileri Bilgen Boyacıoğlu, Oya Saf, Özgü Özkan, Kader Reyhan, Feral Geçer ve Yenal Akgün tarafından düzenlendi. Esas olarak proje arazisini incelenme amaçlı gezide öğrenciler, aynı zamanda Efes, Milet ve Priene harabeleri ile Selçuk Müzesini görme fırsatını buldular. Öğrencilerimiz, hazırlayacakları projeye yönelik bilgi toplamanın dışında, antik kent mimarisi ve kazıların içerik ve geleceğine dair bilgiler de edindiler. 

Technical Trip by AR 201 Architectural Design Studio

On 20-21 September 2008, AR 201 Architectural Design Studio took a technical trip to Selçuk Train Station and its vicinities, within the context of design problem determined as the design of a "train station." The trip was organized by the project supervisors Assoc. Prof. Dr. Türkan Özbalta, Assist. Prof. Dr. Fehmi Doğan, Assist. Prof. Dr. Erdem Erten, Ins. Dr. Ülkü İnceköse and Ins. Aydın Özay (Architect, M.S.), and Research Assistants Bilgen Boyacıoğlu, Oya Saf, Özgü Özkan, Kader Reyhan, Feral Geçer and Yenal Akgün. The aim of the trip primarily consisted of sightseeing of the project site, but in the same time, students could get the chance of visiting the ruins at Ephesus, Miletus, Priene and Selçuk Museum. Apart from attaining information about their design projects, students were also enlightened about the architecture of antique cities, and the contents and future plans of the excavations.
