2009-2010 Eğitim-Öğretim yılı oryantasyon haftası etkinlikleri, 2 Ekim 2009 Cuma günü saat 10.00'da, A Blok Seminer Salonunda Erasmus Programı bilgilendirme toplantısıyla başladı. Toplantıda Mimarlık Bölümü Öğr. Gör. sayın Dr. Zeynep Durmuş Arsan, Uluslararası İlişkiler Ofisinden sayın Asena Altan ve sayın Özge Topçuoğlu öğrencilerimizi Erasmus Öğrenim ve Staj Hareketliliği hakkında bilgilendirirlerken, daha önce Erasmus ile yurtdışına çıkan öğrencilerimiz, Tuna Dalçam ve Ezgi Aydın da öğrenim deneyimlerini paylaştılar. Erasmus toplantısının ardından, Yandal ve Çift Anadal Programları hakkında bilgilendirme amaçlı düzenlenen toplantıda ise Mimarlık Bölümü Öğr. Gör. sayın Dr. Tonguç Akış ile Şehir ve Bölge Planlama Bölümü Öğr. Gör. sayın Dr. Sema Doğan öğrencilerimize bilgiler verdiler.

Saat 14.00'de başlayan ve İYTE Mimarlık Fakültesinden geçmiş senelerde mezun olmuş öğrencilerimizin konuşmacı olarak yer aldığı Mezunlar Forumu da öğrencilerimizden büyük ilgi gördü. Mimarlık Bölümü Öğretim Üyesi Yrd. Doç. Dr. sayın Erdem Erten'in moderatörlüğünü üstlendiği ve Şehir ve Bölge Planlama Bölümü mezunlarımız sayın Gökçen Bilgen (İzmirGaz), Gülçin Şahin (Garanti Bankası) ve Evrim Canatan (İBŞB) ile Mimarlık Bölümü mezunlarımız sayın Erdem Yıldırım (DEÜ, Ar. Gör.), Tuğçe Şık (serbest mimar), Uygar Boztepe (serbest mimar) ve Rasim Öpöz'ün (serbest mimar) İYTE'de eğitim almış olmanın getirileri ve mezuniyet sonrası deneyimlerini aktardıkları forum, öğrencilerimizin sorularının ardından gerçekleştirilen kapanış ikramıyla tamamlandı.

Tanışma günleri aktivitelerimize gerek konuşmacı gerek dinleyici olarak katılımlarından ötürü tüm misafirlerimize, akademik personelimize ve öğrencilerimize teşekkür ederiz.

Orientation-week activities of the Faculty of Architecture completed with the Graduates' Forum

Orientation-week activities of the 2009-2010 education year continued with the informative presentations about Erasmus Programme on 2 October 2009 Friday at 10.00, in the Seminar Room at A Building. In the meeting dear Ins. Dr. Zeynep Durmuş Arsan from the Department of Architecture, dear Asena Altan (M.S.) and dear Özge Topçuoğlu (M.S.) from the Office of International Relations informed the students about Erasmus Student and Placement Mobility Programmes. Our students Tuna Dalçam and Ezgi Aydın, who applied to the programme before, also shared their experiences. After the Erasmus meeting, dear Ins. Dr. Tonguç Akış from the Department of Architecture and dear Ins. Dr. Sema Doğan from the Department of City and Regional Planning informed the students about the Minor and Double Major programs at IYTE Faculty of Architecture.

Graduates' Forum started at 14.00 and also drew intense interest from the students. It was moderated by dear Assist. Prof. Dr. Erdem Erten from the Department of Architecture, and the speakers were dear Gökçen Bilgen (from İzmirGaz), Gülçin Şahin (from Garanti Bank), and  Evrim Canatan (from Metropolitan Municipality of Izmir) as the graduates of the Department of City and Regional Planning, and dear Erdem Yıldırım (DEU, Res. Assist.), Tuğçe Şık (Independent Arch.), Uygar Boztepe (Independent Arch. and Rasim Öpöz (Independent Arch.) as the graduates of the Department of Architecture. They shared their experiences after the graduation as well as their thoughts about the advantages of being educated in IYTE Faculty of Architecture. After the questions of our students to the graduates, forum ended with a final-coctail.
