Mimarlık Fakültesi Tanışma Günlerinde, öğrenci yarışma sunumları ve AFA tanıtımı

Mimarlık Fakültesi Tanışma Günleri, 17 Eylül Çarşamba günü, saat 10.00'da, A Blok zemin kat Seminer Salonunda gerçekleştirilen öğrenci yarışma sunumları ve AFA (Activities of the Faculty of Architecture) tanıtımı ile devam etti. İlk olarak “İzmir Büyükşehir Belediyesi Tarihe Saygı Yerel Koruma Ödülleri” yarışmasında, grup arkadaşları Adil Tokyay ile birlikte, Tarihsel Çevre ve Kültür Varlıklarını Koruma Dalında Katkı Ödülü kazanan Şehir ve Bölge Planlama Bölümü Lisans öğrencilerimiz, Sinem Partigöç ile Dalya Hazar, söz konusu 2007 tarihli yarışmada, kendilerine ödül getiren Konak Yıldız Mahallesi ve Aliağa Camii konulu projelerinin sunumunu gerçekleştirdiler. Ardından, Mimarlık Bölümü Lisans öğrencimiz Burak Sarı, “İstanbul Design Week” kapsamında 2007 yılında düzenlenen “İstanbul 2010 Taksisi” yarışmasında grubuyla birlikte kendilerine 1.lik ödülü getiren projelerini ve genel olarak mimarlık öğrenci yarışmaları üzerine deneyim ve bilgilerini paylaştı. Son olarak, Mimarlık Bölümü Lisans öğrencimiz Belgin Terim, AFA ve bu gruba bağlı kulüpler hakkında bir tanıtım gerçekleştirdi. Tanışma günleri aktivitelerimiz tüm hafta boyunca devam edecek.

Presentations on students' competitions and AFA in the Acquitance-days of Faculty of Architecture

Activities of the acquitance-days at Faculty of Architecture continued with the presentations on students' competitions and AFA (Activities of the Faculty of Architecture) on 17 September Wednesday at 10.00, in the Seminar Room at A Building. Firstly, our B.S. students in the Department of City and Regional Planning, Sinem Partigöç and Dalya Hazar, presented their award-winning project--with their friend Adil Tokyay as the participant--on Konak Yıldız District and Aliağa Mosque, which was awarded with the Contribution to the Conservation of Historical Environment and Cultural Entities in the competition of “Izmir Greater Municipality Awards of Respect to History and Local Conservation” in 2007. Secondly, our B.S. student in the Department of Architecture, Burak Sarı, presented their design, by speaking for his group, as the winner of the competition of “2010 Taxi for Istanbul” organized during the “Istanbul Design Week” in 2007. He also shared his experiences and information concerning the architectural competitions for students. Daily activities ended with the presentation on the subjects of AFA and its related clubs by Berrin Terim, as one of our B.S. students in the Department of Architecture. Activities of the acquaintance-days will continue during the whole week.
